PMC-SAC01C-COS contains preadipocytes isolated from mouse subcutaneous adipose tissues. Subcutaneous white adipocytes play an important role in energy storage. They are useful for studying the mechanism of adipogenesis as well as for analyzing the effects of drugs on metabolic syndromes such as obesity, diabetes and hypertension.
