N-Histofine® Simple Stain™ Rat MAX PO (G) belongs to a family of immunohistochemical detection systems (from Nichirei Biosciences) designed to enhance staining of formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) and frozen tissue sections from RAT. It deploys Nichirei Bio’s patented Universal Immuno-enzyme Polymer (UIP) technology that combines amino acid polymers with multiple molecules of peroxidase (PO) and secondary antibodies reduced to Fab’ fragments. To eliminate background staining, secondary antibodies undergo solid-phase adsorption with rat, human, dog, pig and bovine sera. Simple Stain™ Rat MAX PO comes in versions optimized for use with primary antibodies from mouse (M), rabbit (R), goat (G), and both mouse and rabbit (MULTI). Principle and Procedure

Advantages

1) No reaction with endogenous rat immunoglobulins

When immunohistochemical detection systems designed for human tissue sections are used for staining rat sections, problematic background staining may arise from reactivity with endogenous rat immunoglobulins. N-Histofine® Simple Stain™ Rat MAX PO is designed for staining rat tissue sections by eliminating background staining from endogenous immunoglobulins.

2) High sensitivity

3) No background from endogenous biotin

4) Compatible with frozen tissue sections (requires N-Histofine® MOUSESTAIN KIT, N-Histofine® Simple Stain™ Mouse MAX PO or N-Histofine® Simple Stain™ Rat MAX PO)

5) Simplified staining steps

6) Ready to use
