MBLI has developed the Anti-HA-tag Magnetic Beads to quickly and efficiently purify HA-tagged proteins at neutral pH to maintain protein activity and native conformation. The HA-tag peptide competitively elutes the HA tagged protein from Anti-HA-tag Magnetic Beads while minimally interfering with protein function.
The affinity of the anti-HA-tag antibody is also very important. Very high affinity antibody cannot be dissociated from the HA-tagged protein, and low affinity antibody is not sufficient for binding. MBLI has optimized the affinity of the anti-HA-tag antibody to permit high yields and efficient purification of functional HA-tagged proteins for biochemical studies.
