Background
CHD2 belongs to the CHD family which is characterized by chromodomains, helicase domains and DNA-binding domains. The CHD family is involved in gene expression and transcription by ATP-dependent chromatin remodeling. Analysis of CHD2 mutant mice revealed that CHD2 is involved in development as well as hematopoiesis.
