GIST-T1 cells
GIST-T1 cells are a new cell line established from human GIST tissue by Associate Professor Naohiro Taguchi of the Graduate School of Human and Natural Sciences, Kochi University. Please use it for various research including cancer research.
Background
GIST (gastrointestinal stromal tumor) is a tumor that forms on the wall of the digestive tract, such as the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, and large intestine, and is said to be a type of tumor that constitutes a "submucosal tumor." It shows different characteristics from gastric cancer and colon cancer that arise from mucous membranes. It is thought to be caused by overgrowth of specialized cells (Cajal interneurons) in the muscle layer beneath the wall of the digestive tract.
GIST-T1 is a new cell line established from human GIST tissue by Associate Professor Naohiro Taguchi of the Graduate School of Integrated Human and Natural Sciences, Kochi University. Please use it for various research including cancer research.
Composition
- GIST-T1C (frozen cells)・・・1 (1×10 6 cells/vial) *derived from human tissue: Woman, Japanese
* Cells have been confirmed negative for mycoplasma, HBV, HCV, HIV, HTLV, and syphilis.
*Because the cells are derived from human tissue, please use them with sufficient safety measures.
*If you do not use the cells immediately after receiving them, store the frozen cells in liquid nitrogen (or below -70°C).
* Regarding this product, provision of cells to third parties (distribution, lending, transfer, permission to use, etc.) is prohibited based on the license agreement with Kochi University and Techno Network Shikoku Co., Ltd.
