Food poisoning bacteria simple and rapid detection kit NH immunochromatography series
NH Immunochromatography Verotoxin
Product Name | Size | Catalog Number |
NH Immunochromato VT1/2 | 1 KIT [2×10 tests] |
NPH-999700000 |
Easy test operation
Easy test operation allows testing without special skills or experience
When used as a screening method to shorten testing times , results can be obtained within 15 minutes after completion of the enrichment culture. ⇒ Negative test can be confirmed quickly.
Inspection costs can be reduced
Because inspection time is shortened, inspection costs including labor costs can be reduced.
Can distinguish between VT1 and VT2
A single test strip can not only detect the presence or absence of verotoxin, but also distinguish between VT1 and VT2.
E. coli O157, O26, O111 can be tested at the same time
E. coli O157, O26, O111 can be tested from the culture solution enriched for testing.
NH Immunochromatography Kit Pathogenic E. coli
Food poisoning caused by pathogenic Escherichia coli (diarrhea-causing Escherichia coli) is an infectious type of food poisoning that occurs when pathogenic Escherichia coli enters the intestinal tract and multiplies after ingesting food. This pathogenic Escherichia coli is broadly classified into five types. Among these, enterohemorrhagic Escherichia coli causes hemorrhagic colitis due to the verotoxin (VT) they produce, and in rare cases, hemolytic uremic syndrome (HUS) and encephalopathy, resulting in death. Among the pathogenic E. coli bacteria, E. coli is considered the most important from a food hygiene perspective, as cases of E. coli have been reported and large-scale cases of food poisoning have been observed in the past. In recent years, an increasing number of cases of serotype O26 being isolated from patients with enterohemorrhagic E. coli infections have been observed, and it has become the second most common serotype after O157. In addition, enterohemorrhagic E. coli O111 is reported to be the second most commonly detected infection overseas after O157, and the third most common in Japan after O157 and O26.

Handling Precautions
When using this kit, be sure to read the instruction manual.
This kit is a reagent for detecting microorganisms in food and has not been approved as an in vitro diagnostic reagent.
For samples that test positive with this kit, be sure to confirm using other methods.
When conducting tests, please conduct them in appropriate equipment and facilities and follow standard microbial testing procedures to prevent infection.
Appropriately sterilize and dispose of test strips, enrichment media, samples, and remaining sample solutions used in the test.
