Osteoblast culture kit (rat / mouse)
Bone tissue is constantly metabolized by bone resorption and bone formation, and undergoes bone remodeling (reconstruction). Osteoblasts are responsible for this bone formation, and it is known that calcium is deposited as an extracellular matrix, and the mineralized bone matrix becomes bone tissue.
The skull-derived osteoblast culture kit is useful for elucidating the mechanism of osteoblast activity regulation and bone formation experiments.
Intended use
Bone tissue is composed of osteoblastic cells such as osteoblasts, bone resorption cells such as osteoclasts, stromal cells and hematopoietic cells. In addition to evaluation, the activity of individual osteocytes should be considered. However, although many osteoblast-like cell lines have now been established, not all of the in vivo functions of osteoblasts are necessarily expressed in vitro .
This culture kit maintains its function because it is a primary culture of osteoblasts migrating from rat skull bone fragments. It is useful for elucidating the activity regulation mechanism of osteoblasts and for bone formation experiments.

Cultured Cells : These cells are delivered in culture vessels (adherent cells or suspension cells). Since it cannot be stored in that state, please take it out immediately after delivery and immediately start culturing in a CO2 incubator.
Frozen Cells : The cells are shipped frozen in dry ice packaging. You can take it out immediately after delivery and start culturing immediately, or you can freeze it at the temperature specified in the instruction manual.

Figure 3: Confluent rat osteoblasts were cultured in osteogenic medium for 28 days and then stained with a mineralization staining kit (cultivated in a 12-well plate).
Frozen cells
These are osteoblasts (frozen cells) that have been subcultured (2nd or 3rd passage) from cells that have migrated from bone fragments.
