Sensitive staining of strongly acidic proteins
Stains All gel staining kit
The Stains All Gel Staining Kit sensitively stains "strongly acidic proteins," which are difficult to stain with conventional staining methods.
Background
Bone, tooth, etc. contain many acidic proteins such as osteocalcin, osteopontin, and BSPII, which are proteins that control mineralization. Conventionally, when such proteins are electrophoresed and stained with an ordinary staining solution, their stainability is extremely poor, making their detection difficult.
Features
- Each protein is dyed in different colors due to differences in isoelectric point, sugar chain, and modification with phosphate groups.
- This staining kit is especially effective for staining strongly acidic proteins, which conventional staining methods are not good at.
Composition
- Mini slab gel for 20 times
- 1 bottle of 40ml coloring stock solution
- 200ml buffer solution
