More convenient and stable measurement of "glycerol-3-phosphate dehydrogenase", an index of lipogenesis activity

Adipose tissue acts as a storage site for energy in the body. The method is to convert the energy obtained from food into fat by the action of each enzyme involved in fat synthesis. Among these enzymes, glycerol-3-phosphate dehydrogenase (GPDH) is the enzyme that has been most frequently measured to find out the lipogenic activity of adipose tissue and adipocytes.

For this measurement kit, the composition of reagents and the selection of stabilizers have been studied so that the conventional method can be used more easily and more stably.

 

Intended use

Use it as an option for the culture cell series " VAC Visceral Adipocyte ", " Subcutaneous White Adipocyte Culture Kit " and " Brown Adipocyte Culture Kit ".

The GPDH activity measurement kit provides a simpler and more stable measurement of "glycerol-3-phosphate dehydrogenase (GAPDH)", which is an indicator of lipogenesis activity.
