Detects osteoblast markers
Alkaline phosphatase staining kit
Intended use
Bone mass is controlled by the balance between the activity of bone-forming osteoblasts and the activity of bone-destroying osteoclasts.
Osteoclasts have tartrate-resistant acid phosphatase as an enzyme marker, whereas osteoblasts have alkaline phosphatase as an enzyme marker. Use this staining kit for alkaline phosphatase staining of osteoblasts and bone marrow cells differentiated into osteogenic cells.
Composition
- 1 bottle of 50 mL substrate buffer
- 10 tubes for 5 mL of chromogenic substrate
* Ten 12-well plates can be stained.
* AK20 does not contain fixative (10% neutral buffered formalin). Please purchase separately or make your own according to the attached manual.
